About Us
ICS Skills, a registered charity, aims to support and promote digital literacy in Ireland. Our activities support individuals and organisations seeking to gain computer skills regardless of financial resources. In keeping with our “IT skills for everybody” mission, we enable training providers throughout Ireland to deliver internationally recognised IT certifications.
For more than forty years the Irish Computer Society, a not-for-profit organisation, has been the representative body for IT professionals in Ireland. Through fostering relationships with governmental bodies and major industry stakeholders the ICS aims to put Information Technology at the forefront of both social and private agendas.
Our annual conference provides a platform for our network of more than 1000 IT training centres to share best practices, stay motivated in the mission of proliferating computer skills and feel as part of a community.
